  1. Does anyone have any Filofax catalogues for the years between 1993 and 1998? It would be helpful to fill in the gap in our coverage.

  2. Steve,
Is it possible to print your diary insters directly on A5 paper or must I use A4 paper?

    1. Hi,
Yes that is exactly what I do, straight on to A5 paper which I buy locally now. It saves the cutting operation and you just have to punch the pages.
The files are set to A4 so then can be Booklet Printed which rescales them automatically to fit.
If you are printing on to A5 paper, you need to set your printer to know it is using A5 paper not A4 paper and then if it doesn't automatically rescale things, then set a scaling factor of 70% and it will print ok on the paper.
It is best to do a quick test with say 2 or 3 pages first before you attempt the whole insert and make a note of the settings you have to change.

When I print on A5 I don't use the duplexer, I find it better to just print 'Odd' numbered pages first, Flip the pages over and then print 'Even' numbers

If you get stuck please get in touch and I will do my best to help you.

    2. Steve,
Thank you for your help. I meant to reply to this thread but started a new one.
I have had a devil of a time trying print your inserts. I tried to print in Word first. I selected A5 paper but it would scaled one page to fit over two pages. So I tried printing the PDF files. The size was perfect but I could not get them to print correctly. Instead of the pages flowing left to right (Wo2P & Do2P), the second page of the 2 page apread printed directly on the back of the first page - does that make sense? I printed odd pages first, figured out how to put pages back in to print the even on the back, but it doesn't flow right. I am sure it is user error - am I missing a step somewhere? It feels like a nice tall glass of water is just out reach when I am dying of thirst.

    1. Most of the time I only use one pen in my Filofax, but I will admit it would be nice to be able to carry two pens, different colours, or may be a pen and pencil???

    2. If you use a Zebra diary pen/pencil combo that solves the problem... that's what I use and it fits in the tiny pen-loops too.

  7. Hello! I'm new to the filofax community and really been getting into it. However, I'm having some problems regarding the mail merging. Nothing changes after selecting the excel file as the source and clicking the arrow buttons above the "find recipient". When I click the arrows, the page number changes but the page itself doesn't. I tried many times to delete the files and re-downloading it, but it somehow doesn't fix the problem. I'm using windows 8.1.

I don't know how fix this :( please please help me
    Thank you so much!!
